was never married and that she lived a Yearly Servt . with Mr.
Francis Jones< no role > a farmer in the Parish of Yarpole in the County
of Hereford for two Years at the Yearly Wages of Thirty Shillings
and hath quitted her sd. Service abt. three Years and hath not
since rented Ten pounds a Year pd. Parish Taxes or lived a Yearly
Servt. for One Year And further upon her Voluntary Oath Says
She is pregnant with Child or Children wth is likely to be Born
a Bastard or Bastards & to become chargeable to the parish
of St. Clemt. Danes in the County of Middx where She now Lodges
She being poor & unable to maintain the same when Born
Says George Smout< no role > late a Servt . to Mr. Smart in Grays Inn did beget
the sd. Bastard Child or Children on her Body the sd. George
Smout
< no role > haveing had Carnall knowledge of this Examinant in
the House of One Mr. Read in the Strand the latter end of the
Month of March or begining of April last and at Sevll. other
times since at One of wth times he got her with Child of the
sd. Bastard Child or Children with wch she is now pregnant
and that the sd. George Smout< no role > & no other person is the True
and real father thereof.
