Saml. Axtell< no role > aged about 57 Years upon Oath
saith he lived in and rented a Shed near Lincolns Inn
Bachgate in the Parish of St. Clement Danes in
the County of Middlesex of the Yearly Rent of Ten
pounds for one Year or thereabouts and quitted
the same about 14 Years ago, since which time
he has not rented ten Pounds a Year paid Parish
Taxes lived a Yearly Servant for one Year or
otherwise gained a Settlement in any other
Place to his knowledge or belief Says he
intermarried with his present Wife Ann Axtell< no role >
in the Parish Church of St. Leonard Shoreditch
on the 1st. of June 1746 and that she is now
pregnant with Child and near the time of her deliver [..]
and this Examinant being poor is not able to
maintain her
