(to wit) Mary Burgess< no role > This name instance is in set 892. Aged 29 years or
thereabouts Upon her Oath saith that she
Intermarried with her [..] late Husband at
the parish Edward Burges< no role > at Christ Church in the Co. of Surry
on the 27th. day of August 1787 by Banns
That previous there to and while he her said
Husband Edward Burges< no role > was single and
unmarried not having any Child or Children
he lived as an hired yearly Servt. or Clerk with
Messrs. Sanderman & Graham in [..] America Square
[..] John Street Minories for two years
together at the Wages of Fifty pounds for the
first and Sixty pounds for the second year that
during part of his said service he lived lodged & slept with Mr
Burdett No.1 Old Change in the parish of St.
Michael Queen in the City of London Glazier
at the luupwards of two Months and that he
quitted the same sometime in October 1785 as
she verily believes & in the November succeeding
he left the Service of Messrs. Sanderman & Co.
And hath not since in his life time after quitting the sd Mr. Burdett done any Act Matter or
thing whereby to obtain any Subsequent legal
settlement to the best of her knowledge or belief
that she hath one Child Named Edward< no role > Aged
two years who was begotten by her said Husband and [..]
is the her only Surviving Child - And that is
