(to wit) Benjamin Newman< no role > one of
the Beadles of the Parish of St.
Clement Danes abovementd on behalf of
Jane lake< no role > Widownow Ill and fired to her
Room Maketh Oath and Saith that she the
said Jane Lake< no role > hath Informed this Depont.
which he verily believes to be true that she
Intermarried with her present Husband
Wm. Lake< no role > at the parish Church of St Paul
Convent Garden about 15 years ago that she
is now of the Age of 46 years as thereabouts
that since then said Marriage her said Husband
Rented and with her Rented in an House in
Well Street Oxford Road in the parish of St.
May le bone in the Courts of Middlesex about
two years at and under the Annual Rent of
£18. that they quitted the same about four
years ago and since that her said Husband hath not done any Act
where by to obtain any Subsequent legal
Settlement that her said Husband left her
about three weeks ago and she doth not known
where he now is and that she is Ill & Poor
