(to wit) Mary Evans< no role > Aged 27 years and
upwards Wife of William Evans< no role > Upon
her Oath saith That she intermarried with
her present Husband at the parish Church of
St Clement Danes in the said County and
Liberty on or about the 5th October in the year
1782 to the best of her Remembrance and belief
thatsheshe hath never been informed by her
said Husband or otherwise where he particularly
he was born or legally Settled except Generally
that he was born in Scotland And this Examinant
further saith previous to her said Intermarriage
being Single & having no Child or Children she
lived as an hired Yearly Servant with Mrs.
Bickerstaff [..] at No 199 in the Strand in the
said parish of St. Clement Danes for a year &
an half at the Annual Wages of Ten Pounds
that she left that Service about a year previous
to her said Marriage and since hath not (by any
means) gained any others legal Settlement in her own Right And
further that she hath now living two legitimate
Children together by her said Husband Vizt. Sarah< no role >
Aged sevenSix years & Eleven Months or thereabouts & William< no role >
Aged five Years two Months or thereabouts & who
are their only [..] Children now living And
that her said Husband deserted her this Deponent
& their said Children about three Month, since
which time she hath never seen him or received any
thing from him for the support of herself & said Family
