to wit William Giffard< no role > aged about 60 years
upon his Oath saith that about 36 years ago her
Intermarried with Elizabeth Carr< no role > (who has been dead
about Twelve years) at the Parish Church of
Medburn in Leicestershire by whom he hath Six
Children living vizt. Wm.< no role > aged about 27 years Alice< no role > aged
about 30 years Thomas< no role > aged about 20 years Sarah< no role >
aged about 19 years and Mary< no role > aged about 17 years all
provided for and Ann< no role > aged about 15 years
unprovided for That he this Examinant Rented
and lived in a house atNarrow Wall Lambeth Walk in
the Parish of Saint Mary at Lambeth in the
County of Surry for SixMonthsYears and upwards at
the Yearly Rent of Ten Pounds that he hath done
no Act since he quitted said house to gain a
Subsequent Settlement and this Examinant further
saith that his Daughter Ann< no role > never was bound an
Apprentice lived as a hired yearly Servant for one
year or done any Act to gain a Settlement in his
own right
