Mary Best< no role > aged 20 Years or
thereabouts and Elizabeth Brownley< no role > aged 44
or thereabouts upon their Oaths Say And pish
this deponent Elizabeth Bronley< no role > upon her
Oath Saith That her Father Richard Best< no role >
& Mother Elizabeth Best< no role > were Married
at Birmingham in the County of Warrick
that the said Richard Best< no role > kept a
House in Colman Street and in
Mount Pleasent both in the parish of
Old Church in the Town of Birmingham
And that he paid upwards of £12 a
Year for the one in Colman Street
Birmingham aforesaid And that she
doth not know of the said Richard Best< no role >
ever gained any Settlement after
he left Birmingham aforesaid
or that the said Elizth. Best< no role > after his
decease ever gained any Settlement
till her Intermarriage withJames
her second Husband Andthatthis Examinent
Mary Best< no role > for herself saith that she is the Daughter
of the said Elizabeth< no role > and Richard< no role > and Elizth. Best< no role >
and that she hath not to the best of her knowledge
done any Act matter or thing whereby she may
have gained a Settlement in her own Right
to the best of her knowledge and belief
