(to wit) Elizabeth Harwood< no role > singlewoman aged
Twenty three years or thereabouts upon her Oath saith That
she never was married, says, she lived as an hired Yearly
Servant with Mrs. Pennington of the Crooked Billet in
Wych Street in the Parish of Saint Clement Danes in
the County of Middlesex for upwards of [..]
one year at the Wages of eight Guineas per Annum
that she quitted her said Service about three Years ago
and since that time has never to the best of her Knowledge
gained any subsequent Settlements and further this
Examinant on her Oath saith that she was on the
third Day of September last part delivered of a female
Bastard Child since Christened as the name of Margaret
Harwood
< no role > , at the lying in Hospital in Store street To Ches-
-ham Court Road , and that John Moltre< no role > Esquire the Son
of Servant Moltre< no role > who lives at No. 51 Great Portland
Street Oxford Road [..] and no one else in the real
and true father thereof he having had Carnal Knowledge
of this Examinants Body and be gotten this same thereon
and that she this Examinant being [..] Unable
to maintain herself and the said Child the Child
[..] be Chargeable to the Parish of Saint Clement
Danes
