in order to buy a Couple of small Chickens
and soon after he had gotten into the
Shop of Mrs. Smith a Poulterer he
sat down in a Chair and said he was
very illandand immediately fell off
the Chair upon the Floor near spoke another [..] whereupon
Mr. Cozens who lives with Mrs. Smith
came from below Stairs and lefted the
deceased from off the Floor into the Chair
and he sent for [..] an Apothecary
who open'd a Vein from whence a
little Blood issued and advised then
to put the deceased into a Coach as
the Motion of it might be of use
to him whereupon he was put into
the Coach and this Deponent and Mr.
Cozens and two other Persons went in the
Coach and the conveyed the deceased
immediately from thence to his own
House in SouthAudley Street when
they got about 9 o'Clock and when the [..]
they

they took him out of the Coach they
did not appear to be any Signs of
Life in him.

The sd. Thomas Cozens< no role > being sworn corrobo [..]
the above and sayeth that when he
had lifted him up from the Floor and
put him in the Chairandhe fetched several
deep Sighs but never Spokethat
when they took him out of the Coach
into his own House he has quite
dead
