came home late [..] the next Night
in Company with two Girls and was
then very much intoxicated and as this
Deponent would not suffer the Girls
to stay in the House he treated them
with a Quartern of Gin and desired this
Deponent to lend him half a Crawn
which she refused to do, upon which
he went out of the House with the
sd. two Girls but did not return until
the Thursday Night next followg
and second then to be sensible and
serious and went to Bed and slept
till Friday night when he went
upon the Watch and did not return
unto & Sunday Night whenhe had
[..] his right Eye was black
which appeared to have been occasiond
by a Blow and he said a Soldier
had Struck him, he then went to
Bed and abot. nine in the Evening
on [..] Monday last the 4th, instant her Husband went
up Stairs and called and asked him
hand
how he did and he answered he
was very ill and her Husband told him
to knock if he should want any
thing in the Night and he said he
would, and between and 6 o'Clock
the next Morning (being Yesterday)
the said Jeremiah Moore< no role > her Husband
went into his Room and enquired
how he was and he told him he
was very weak that he had been
trying to get out of Bed several
times but his Head was so heavy
that he fell down that her Husband observed some Blood about the Bed & on the Floor and in the Chamber
pot and he said he had been sick and his Now had bled with reaching but it afterwards
appeared that he had with same Instrument opend a Vim in his left dran and had last a
great deal of Blood that about half

Stairs and told him she would make
him some Water [..] and part same

him to send for his Mother if he did
not get better which he said he
