this 9th. day of June 1798 in the
Parish of St. George Hanover Square
at the House of John Transfield< no role >
the Sign of the [..]
in Piccadilly before Anthony Gell< no role >
His Majesty's Coroner for the said
City and Liberty touching the
Death of Jacob Cox< no role > then and
there lying dead as follow
to wit.

Edward Holloway< no role > Drayman to Mr. Munday
of Chelsea Brewery being sworn deposeth that
on Thursday last the 7th. [..] in the Evening as this Deponent
and the deceased were returning with one of the
Munday Drays with empty Carks from
Harcourt Street down Down Street to
Piccadilly this Deponent was sitting upon
one of the Casks in the middle of the Dray
[..] and the deceased was walking by the Side of it
and whilst he was talking to me of his Acquaint
-ance he was looking a different Way and when
he turned his Face again he saw this deceased
lying on the Ground [..] with his
Face downwards and much Blood about him
whereupon
