Informations of Witnesses seve-
rally taken and Acknowledged on the
behalf of our Sovereign Lord the King
touching the Death of Mary Grosvenor< no role >
at the Dwelling House of John Whalley< no role >
known by the Sign of the Guy Eard of
Warwick in Warwick Street in the Parish
of Saint James in the Liberty of Witnesses
on the Tenth day of February in the
Thirty eight Year of Reign of our
Sovereign Lord King George the third
before me Anthony Gell< no role > His Majesties
Coroner for the said City and LIberty
on an Inquisition then and there
taken on View of the Body of the
said Mary Grosevenor then and
there lying dead as follow
to Wit

William Fitchett< no role > a Taylor at No. 70 in Berwick
Street so he being sworn deposeth That the deceased
and John Portsmouth< no role > a [..] and Martha< no role > his Wife who is the
Daughter of the deceased have lodged with this
Deponent about Six Years that the deceased and
the said John Portsmouth< no role > were in general at
variance, the said deceased being of a Violent Temper
and frequently endeavoured to set his Wife and
him
