Parish of St. Mart Westmr at the
House [..] of Henry

touching the Death of Richard
Crowe

as follow to Wit

Samuel Hanbury< no role > of King Street Westmr . Surgeon and Apothecary
being Sworn deposeth that between 7 and 8 o' Clock this
morning he was sent for to a man whom he was
informed had hanged himself at the Bishop of
Landaff's House in Great George Street Westmr
whose Wife had the Care of this House during the
Bishops Absence and when this Deponent came
there he found the deceased lying flat upon the Floor
in the Laundry which was in the upper part of the
House where there was a Drying Horse near the Ceiling
for drying Linnen but this Deponent did not observe
any Cord or part of a Cord fixed to the said drying Horse
and was for some time at a great loss how to account
for his Death altho' there appeared marks of Strangu-
-lation
