found there was the Body of a Woman and as he
could not draw her to the Side of the River he
came to Shore and dressed himself and then went to
the Boat house and got the Boat and with the
Assistance of some other Persons got her to Shore
and a Shell was soon brought into which she
was put and conveyed to the Watchhouse at
Knights bridge .whenthis Deponent further sayeth
that when she was brot. to Shore she was cold and
stiff and had no Sign of Life, nor were there any Marks
of Violence that he could observe about her

Oxford Road being sworn deposeth that she
has known the Deceased for nearly five Weeks
and that she was out of Service and Slept with
this Deponent every Night when she this Deponent
herself slept at the Lodgings that she slept with
this

this Deponent on Saturday night last but
not on Sunday Night nor did she see her
after seven o'Clock that Evening and a little
before one o'Clock this Afternoon she was
informed that she was drowned
