6th. day of august 1795 in the Parish of st
George Hanover Square at the Dwelling
house of Thomas Jones< no role > The Sign of the
Bricklayer Arms in Duke Street Growe
Square, before Anthony Gell< no role > his
Majesty's Coroner for the said City and
Liberty touching the death of Robert
Lawless
< no role > then and there lying dead as
Follow, to wit.

Ralph Walker< no role > of Duke Street Painter & Glasier in
being sworn deponent that on Tuesday Evening last
the 4th. Instant as he was standing at his own door
which was within two Doors of the house where the
deceased who was an apprentice he saw the deceased to [..] Mrs Bur [..] no. 25 same Street standing on the Shed [..] own the
Doorway of his House over which Door way [..] was the
Shew Board which he was endeavoring to clean with
a little Oil and Whilst he was so doing the fastning
of the Shew board became loose out of the Wall by which
Means the Shewboard gave way and the deceased together
with it felt down upon the Flag Stones in the Street
and Fractured his Skull and this Deponent rang
immediately to Dr. Robinson a Surgeon in the said
Street and his Assistants came immediately and bled
the deceased at which time he was guite Sinceless
and
