he Visited this Dept a good night & was going
up Stairs to Bed this Dept. Saith that she
then next into the yard but in the
Come of ten Minutes as then Dept. was in
the Tap Rom she heard a great noise
she and other Persons immediately went
to the Stairs & then Saw the Deced
lying on the Stairs his Head being
downwardsthe Deced was immediately
taken up but never Spoke and was
dead by the time they got him into
the RoomMedical assistance was
immediately sent but to no pufore
as he was certainly dead this Dept
believes that no person was on the
Stair at the time she has no doubts
but to think that the Deced was
[..] much with Death on the Stairs &
Consequently fell down himself

Verdict

That John Peasgood< no role > died on
Tuesday the 4th. day of
August 1795 a natural Death
by the Visitation of God
& not otherwise.
