Informations of Witnesses taken
this 3d. day of August 1795 in the
Parish of St. Geo: Hanover Square at
Lothians Hotel Albemarle Street before
Anthony Gell< no role > his Majesty's Coroner
for the sd. City and Liberty touching
the Death of Peter Lothian< no role > then and
there lying dead as follow, to wit

Elizabeth Limmer< no role > a Servant at Lothian's Hotel
being sworn deposeth that near ten o'Clock Yesterday
morning (ye. 2d. Instant) as she was going up Stairs
to fetch a Broom in a Water Closet land pair of
Stairs in the sd. Hotel where the Broom are deposited
she saw the deceased lying on the Floor in the sd.
Water Closet and much blood upon the Floor
whereupon she ran down Stairs and sent up
Mr. Innis one of the Waiters whom she followed
up Stairs and as soon as he saw the deceased he
called another waiter and by that time Mrs.
Irvine and Mr. John Lothian< no role > were in the Water
Closet and they together with this Deponent
lifted
