Deponent was informed by a man who came
from Mr. Muckay an Oilman in Piccadilly
that the Mr. Davies (the deceased) was taken
ill at Mr. Muckays house and desired that
someone fromof Mr. Davis's Family or People
would come to time whereupon this Deponmg
went to Mr. Muckays where he found the
deceased sitting on a Stool in the Counting
House extremely ill, totally insensible
and in about ten minutes this Deponent
went and fetched Mr. Bamfold An
Apothy in Conduit Street who came immediately with this Deponent to Mr. Machays
when the decesed appeared to be worn their
when this Deponent left him and they
then carried him out of the Compting house
into the Drawing Room and lyir his upon
a Sopha where his continued in the Room till between
4 & 5 and then expired.

Knight he was not for to attend the
deceased when he found in Bed compling
of A very bad paiN on the left Side of
his head attended with a constant
Vomiting whereupon this Deponent
gave him an EmitiC and such
medicine as he thought proper after
that Operation and staid with him till
2 o'Clock the next morning when he
appeared to be much better and
disposed to sleep. when he visitedin
again in the Forenoon of that day he found
him much better but as Dr. Paignard
the Formerly Physicianwhohad been in
the habit of Visiting him it was thought
right he should be called in who saw
him that day and a plan was adopted
as must proper per his Recovery and from
pursuing which her runned much better
that last Monday Morning this Deponent
called upon Mr. Davis PreviOUs to his
going
