Informations of Witnesses take this 23d day
of April 1795 in the Parish of St. Martin in
the Fields at the Dwelling house of William
Nicolson
< no role > the Red Lion in Cock purr Street
before Anthony Gell< no role > His Majesty's Coroner
for the said City & Liberty touching the
Death of John Robinson< no role > then & there
lying dead as follow, to wit.

Samuel Barnard< no role > Post Boy Chaise Driver to Mr Moore a Livery
stable Keeper at Richmond being sworn deponth that yesterday the
22d. Instant he had beenin companywith three Coaches and a chaise
and a pair of Horses to take some company to shooters Hill where
the said Company dined and were set did sworn hence about eight
o'Clock the new evening in order to return to London this
Deponent was driving the past Coach of Company a little Wayer
this side of new Cross Turnpike , he heard a Carriage [..] coming on
she [..] off side of him and as he turned his head on one side
to see what carriage it was he saw the deceased pitch off
the cheese house where upon this Deponenth pulled up and
stopped the Chaise Horse and some of the Company took him
up and put him into the Chaise which was then empty
as the Company had gotten out of the chaise whom it was
on Shooters Hill and went into one of the Coaches to the other
Company, and the deceased was brought in the said Chaise
to this House (the Red Lion Inn in Cockspur Street butandthis
Deponent did not see the deceased after he was put into the
Chaise that the Horses which drew the said chaise were very
quiet and not all vicious.
