Hall Overend a Quaker Assistant to the said
Mr. Smith affirmeth that on Thursday last
about half part 4 in the afternoon same
Person brought the deceased into their Shop when
he appeared to be dead however he open'd a
Vein in his Arm and also in the jugular Vein
in his Neck but very little blood issued there
out this Deponent immediately examined his
Head and Breast Etc but found no external
Injury but as blood issued from his Nose &
Mouth, he is of opinion that he received by the
Fall a violent Concussion of his Brain
which was the immediate occasion of his
death.
