Informations of Witnesses taken
this third day of Jany 1795 in the
Parish of St. Martin in the Fields
at the Dwelling house of
Underwood the Sign of the Dukes
Head in Great St. Martins Street
in the Liberty aforesaid before
Anthony Gell< no role > his Majesty's Coroner
for the said City and Liberty
touching the Death of
Haynes then and there lying
dead, as follow, to Witt,

James Bryent< no role > of Plough Court Carey Street
Poste Chaise Driver being sworn deposeth that
on Thursday last the first Instant a little
after 4 in the Afternoon as he was going
out of Shug Lane into the Hay market ,
seeing a Crowd of People he went up to them
and found the deceased sitting on the Foot way
and they said he had had a sad fall whereupon this Depont. & Anot. Person lifted
him up by his Arms and a third Person
by his Legs when he was quite Speechless
and had but little Signs of Life and they
immediately carried him to Mr. Smiths a
Chymist & the Corner of Country Court
and a Person belonging to Mr. Smith bled
him and this Deponent them went away
and further deposeth not
