for three weeks last past, and had
been ill for some time before and says
that when she went into the Deceds
Bedchamber then Morning as usual
the Deced complained of a violent
pain in his Head, Says that Mrs. Gibson
went out as usual to the Coffee house
in Covent Garden about half an hour
before Dept. saw the Blood. running
under the Bed Chamber Door. Says that
she was in the Bedchamber during the
time Mrs. Gibson Dressed herself, and
went with her out of the Room leaving
the Deced in Bed the Deced being awake
but did not speak.

Surgeon & Apothecary on his Oath saith
That this Morning about Ten o'Clock
Margaret Hootton< no role > Servant to Mr. Gibson
came into Dept. Shop very much frightened
and desire him to come [..] Stairs
immediately, he went and saw the Deced
lying on the Floor in his Bedchamber
by the side of the Bed, his Shirt being on
and Bloody, and Blood upon the Bed
Says that he saw a long Wound in Deced
Throat in being about for [..] the large Arteries and thewindp [..]
being severd, That he found a Silver
Handle Case Knife on the Floor near the
Deced very Bloody with which Dept.
thinks the Deced gave himself the Wound
in the Throat which was the cause of the Deceds

Oath saith, That the Deced has been at
times low Spirited for about five [..]
That he spoke very lowandand his
Answers were very different from the
Questions put to him and Dept. thought
the Deced's Mind deranged and of [..]
of it to her Fellow Servants but Saturday
and Dept. believes that the Deced
was at times Disordered in his mind
