Informations taken this fifteenth
day of September 1791 at the Parish
of St. John the Evangelist within the
Liberty of Westmr . in the County of Midsex
upon an Inquisition touching the
death of James Glanvill< no role > lying doad
in the said Parish Liberty and County.

Thomas Venallis< no role > a Lodger at the Sign of
the Ship in Mill Bank Row Carpenter &
Joiner on his Oath saith, That he and
the Deced James Glanvill Worked Yesterday
at Messrs. White & Holland's Tumber Yard
on Mill Bank That after Six o' Clock
the Deced asked Dept. to go with him
into the River Thames to Wash thems [..]
Says that they undressed themselves and
both went into the River and swam
a little while That a Stick was th [..]
into the River and Deced swam
towards it, but said it was too far
and Deaced. went down, That he [..]
came up once and then Sunk and
was Drowned Accidentally.
