before Five this Morning Thos. Coleman called Mr. Bryan
several Times saying that the Deced had cut his Throat
upon which, Deponent went into the Room and saw
the Deced laying with his Head over aPallPail on one
side of the Bed having a Large Wound in his Throat
which bled into the Pail Says that the Deced Rattled
in the Throat but could not Speak and died in about
Three Minutes, says that the Deced he believes gave
himself the Wound in the Throat which caused his Death
and that he appeared to be perfectly sensible when
he saw him last night

John Sayer< no role > One of the Turn Keys in Tothill Fields
Bridewell on his Oath saith That on Tuesday last
the Deced was brought a Prisoner to the said Prison
and kept in a Bed these, that Night and on
Wednesday Night, Says that this Morning about Five
o' Clock he heard Thos. Coleman< no role > who slept in
another Bed in the same Room with the Deced
call Bryan at the Window Several times saying that the Deced had cut him Throat with a pay or Deponent
says that he wentintofor the Keys finding that
Bryan had gotthethem Deponent called to Coleman
desiring him to take the Razor from him and throw
it to him out of the Window which he did, and was

then open and Bloody, says that he then went
up to the Dece'ds Room and observed a large Wound
in his Throat, which he believes the Deced gave
himself with the Razor and caused the Deceds Death
in about Three Minutes that he saw the Deced
yesterday Morning when he appeared to he perfectly
sensible, says that he heard no Noise in the Deced's
Room last night which he thinks he must have heard as
he slept in the next Room

Thomas Coleman< no role > a Prisoner in Tothill Fields
Bridewell on his Oath saith, that he was brought
Prisoner there Yesterday and slept last Night in the
same Room with the Deced but in another Bed
that they both wentto Bedinto their Bed at
the same Time and Deponent asked the Deced
whether it would be agreeable to sleep in one Bed
to which he answered he always slept by himself
says that he went to sleep and did not awake till
between four and five this Morning upon opening
his Eyes he saw the Deced in his own Bed and soon
after thought he heard him making Water, but
