Informations taken this fifteenth
day of April 1790 at the Parish of
St. George Hanover Square within the
County of Midsex in the County of
Midsex upon an Inquisition touching
the death of Charles Jones< no role > Lying dead
in the said Parish Liberty & County

Ann White< no role > House Maid to William Northey< no role >
of Coroner Grosvenor street in the Parish of St. George
Hanover Square Esqr on her Oath Saith
SaysThat Charles Jones< no role > the Deced was
likewise servant to Mr. Northey and took
care of his Horse, Says that Yesterday
between ten and Eleven o'Clock the Deced
was in the Kitchen with Dept. and appeared
to be in perfect Health Says that she
did not See the Deced afterwards alive
That about four o'Clock Dept. was going
through Mr. Asheys Stable behind his
House to order a pat of Beer from
the Alehouse That on opening the Door
leading out of the Passage into the
Stable She saw the Deced upon his
Houses before the Morning his Knees
touching the Ground be Dept. thought
the Deced's Head being untangled in
the Horses Halter in some manner
and the Horse's Head confined so low as
the Manager Says that she was
Frightend at the Sight thinking
the Deced was untangled in the Haller
but did not think that the Deced was
dead That She immediately called
Mr Barttet the Bartler, who went
directly into the Stable, and putting
his hands under the Deced's as unfit
lifted him up upon, which the Horse
immediatelly lifted up his Head, Says
that the Deced appeared to be dead
but
