Informations taken this fourteenth
day of April 1790 at the Parish of
St. Margaret within the Liberty of
Westmr in the County of Midsex upon on
Inquisition touching the death of
James Quintin< no role > lying dead in the
said Parish Liberty and County

John Cathering< no role > stow Sarah a Lodger to Mr Thomas Jordair< no role > in
new Tothill Street on his Oath Saith That yesterday
in the Afternoon Dept. net Mrs. St Quintin in
Tothill street crying Saying that her Husband
the deced had Struck her on the face upon which he
went into the Deced Room in Carteret Street
Says that the found the Deced having upon his
Elbow on the Windows Says that he endeavoured
to pacity the Deced who said that if he waied
until twelve o'Clock at night he would beat his
Wife that Deced Said Dept. wright go and he
would go to lye down & put the Key under the
Door that his Wife might coming in, and Dept.
thought that the Deced lockedwas going going [..]
the Door, Says that Dept. appeared to be in Liguor
and Dept. thought that he was likewise out of
his Mind Says that he [..] the Sign of
the wheat she of where he was told That the
Deced had Hanged himself, and Dept. afterwards
saw that the Deced was dead
