that the Deced had done it himself and
done if effectually and Dept believes
that the Deced killed himself and that no
perion went into the yard between the time
of his going there with the sandle and the
time that she went into the yard to see
for the Deced.

< no role > of Pertland Street in the Parish
of St. James Westmr. on her Oath saith, That
about a Qarter after Nine o'Clock last
Night this Dept was going out to fetch a
Put of Beer and on the outside of the
Door one Henry Smith< no role > the Deced who
asked if Mrs. Smith was at home and went
in and Dept. ann returned with her Beer
and was told Mr. Robinson that the Deced
had awan the fandler tick which Dept. wanted
to the Deced who was gone with it into
the Yard, says that in about a Quarter
of an hour or more Dept. came down Stairs
and Mr. Robinson came out of the Yard
crying saying that some thing had happened
to Mr. Smith but could not fell what
says that they were a larnned and Dept.
fetched Spencer Salmore< no role > and another Man
who went to the Deced and said his Throat
was cut That some of Mr. Justice Read's
Ran were fetched who went to the Deced
and Mr. Connor a Surgeon was likewise fetched
says that Mr. Murray one of Mr. Read's Man
brought a White Hand her thief in his Hand
into the Parlour containing a Watch three
Shilling in Silver as Dept. thinks and two
pence in Copper which he said he had taken
out of Deced's Pockets saw that she saw
Deced lying dead in the Parlour and Dept
believes that the Deced killed himself
