Informations taken this Second day
of June 1788 at Tothill Fields Bridewell
on the Parish of St. Margaret within
the Liberty of Westmr. in the County
of Midsex upon on Inquisition touching
the death of Ann Birstow< no role > a Prisoner
then and there lying dead

Elizabeth Hazell< no role > a Prisoner in Tothill Fields
Bridewell on her Oath saith. That Ann Bristow< no role >
the Deced has been Prisoner there about two [..]
WeeksMonths appearing to be in Health within the and brought there Says
that the Deced was taken ill with a Fever
about six weeks ago and was ordered
into the Sick Ward, Says that she attended
the Deced there being Nurse in the Sick
Ward, and Mr. Hanbury the Apothecary
Sent the Deced Medicines which she
took reqularly until last Tuesday Says that
Deced green worse about afortnight ago
and Mr. Hanbury said that she could
not live Says that Deced had her Allowance
of the Prison from he Governor, who
likewise gave Dept. Money to buy
nourishing things for Deced which Dept.
bought and gave to Deced Says that
the Deced was not ill used by any
Person in the Prison and Dept. believes
that the Deced died in a natural Way
and that it happened on Saturday Morning
last the thirty first day of May last
about five o' Clock
