Informations taken this Sixth day
of February 1787 at the Parish of
St. Margaret within the Liberty of
Westmr . in the County of Midsex upon
an Inquisition touching the death
of Mary Evaridge lying dead in the
said Parish Liberty and County.

Charles Taylor< no role > House Surgeon at the Westmr.
Hospital on his Oath saith That on the
Twenty sixth day of January last Mary
Evaridge
< no role > the Deced was brought to said Hospital
as an Accident having a Laceration on the
Back part of her Right Leg and up the Thigh
and also a Contusion, Says that the Deced
told him that she was going along a
Street (which he was since informed was
Charles Street in the Parish of St. Margaret )
That she was taken with a Swimming
in her Head and fell down near a Cart
and that one of the said Cart passed over
her Right Leg, but Deced did not charge
the Driver of the Cart with [..] driving the
Cart Says that the Deced died on the
fourth Infant, in consequence of the
Injury abovementioned.

Mary Brant< no role > one of the Nurses in the
Westmr. Hospital in the Parish of St. Margaret
Westmr . on her Oath saith That on the Twenty s [..]
day of January last Mary Evaridge< no role > was brought
to said Hospital about four o Clock in the
afternoon, Says that Deced then told Dept. (being
Sensible) that she was going to cross Charles
Street , and stooping down she was Seized with
a Swimming in her Head and fell down, Says
that
