as Dept. was informed, Says that the
Deced on Friday Morning did not seem
to be well and desired Dept to do his
Stable out for him, which he did [..] Say
that he saw the Deced on Saturday, and
again about Noon on Sunday last the
Ninth Instant, That the Deced then said
that he was very poorly, and was soon
after led up into the Deced's Room in
the Yard, and Dept. was informed that
the Deced died that Night Says that he
has seen the Deced awaked but of his
Sleep in the Taproom several times before
and Deced always flew in a Passion
and Dept. Says that he did not perecive
that Richard was in Anger when he
awaked the Deced.

Edward Ford< no role > of Golden Square in the Parish
of St. James Westmr . Surgeon on his Oath
saith, That he was desired to go to the
Deced on Sunday Evening last the Ninth
Instant, That he found the Deced's left
Eye Swelled, and a Wound on the right
side of Deced's Head, the Deced being
insensible and appeared to be in a
dangerous situation, Says that he bled
the Deced and did what was proper
but Deced died in about six hours
Says that he this day opened the Deceds
Head and over the Deced's left side found
a Fracture of the Scull, which was the
cause of Deced's Death.

Victualler at the Red Lion in Piccadilly
on his Oath saith, That he was at the
Taphouse belonging to the White Bear [..]
in Pieceadilly on Thursday Nigh last
the Sixth Instant. That the Deced was
there asleep near the Fire this Depts.
Wife, Richard, Peter Cockle< no role > , William

< no role > and the Landlord being there
Says that about Twelve o'Clock or a
little after Richard called Tom Post
(meaning the Deced). and endeavoured
to awake him by touching Deceds
Hand, Saying come Tom Post We are
going to Bed, or Words to That Effect,
Says that the Deced got up in a Passion
and Stuck Richard but Richard
reced the Blow upon his left Arm, and
with his Right Hand struck the Deced
somewhere about the left Eye, and
Deced fell down backwards near the
Fire Says that Deced was getting up
when the Land lord took hold of Deced's
Hand and helped him up That the
Deced after wards said it was enough & Sworn that he would do
for Richard, Says that the Deced soon
after took his Candle and went away in
order to go to Bed as Dept. thought but
did not Complain of being hurt Says that
Richard did not appear to be in Anger
at the time he awoke the Deced.

Pricadilly on his Oath saith That about
Eleven o'Clock on Thursday Night last
he went to the Tap house at the White
Bear , That James Harman< no role > went with
him, and there found John Affleck< no role > the
Land lord Richard Tidy< no role > & Peter Cockle< no role > ,
