day of March 1786 at Tothill Fields
Bridewell in the Parish of St. Margaret
within the Liberty of Westmr. in the
County of Middlesex on an Inquisition
touching the Death of Charles Rogers< no role >
Prisoner then and there lying dead.

William Flint< no role > a Prisoner in Tothill fields
Bridewell Church Oath Saith That on the
Sixth Day of February last John Rogers< no role >
the Deced was brought to Tothill Fields
Bridewell being committed by John Hale< no role >
a William Hyde< no role > Esqr . as a Rougue a Vagabond
appearing to be in a very poor stale of
Health, and to be in Decline, says
the Deced continued to be very indifferent
and the Governor put the Deced in the
Shepward where he staid three or
four dougs was better and then would go out of
the Yard, says that the Feet seized Deced
Feet and that they Graderally mertold
That he was again ordered into
the Sick Ward, and attened by Mr. Hanbury
the Apothecary who Dressed the Deced's
Feet and Sent him Medicines but Deced
Grew Worze and died last Sunday Morning
the Nineteen the Instant about two o'Clock
Says that the Deced had his Allowance
every Day from the Governor, and also
Broth and that Wine a great many times
during his illness, Says that the Deced
was not ill used any Person in said
Prison, and Dept says that he Deed
in a natural Way
