Keeper of Tothill Fields Bridewell
on
his Oath saith That about ten days past
he went to Mr. Justice Hyde with Corkfields
from Mr. Hanbury the Apothecary attending
the Prisoners in Tothill Fields Bridewell
of the Condition of several Prisoner in
order to get them Discharged That he then
carried a Certificate from Mr. Hanbury
setting forth the Condetion of [..] Chapel Rogers
the Deced [..] setting forth that he
was frost bitten, and that he was afraid
the Deced's Toet Would Mortify, but the
Justices answered that they Would not
Discharge him unless the apothecary
would go there and make Oath thereof
but Mr. Hanbury did not go, and Deced
contiuned in the Prison and died there
on the Nineteenth Instant, says that
the Deced had his Allowence daily from
the Governor, and Money besides, And
says that the Deced was not ill used by
any Person in said Person, and Dept.
thinks that the Deced died there in a
Natural way of a Moshfication in his
feet
