John Jones< no role > Servant to William Moon< no role > Esqr . Deputy Ranger of
Hyde Park on his Oath saith, That a Woman at the White House
the side of the Serpentine River on Saturday Morning last between
10 and 11 o'Clock sent a lad to Mr. Moone's to let them Know she
beleived a Man was Drowned in the River and to desire they
would sent to take the Boot out Deponent and another Man who
was working at Mr Moore's, and went out with the Boot and
took hold of the Starts of the Deceds Coat, took, him who the
Boat and brought him to Stone, says the Deced was about 12
Yards from the Shore, was standing up in the Water with his Clothes
spread out, the Crown of his Head level with the Waters just his
Hair to be seen Deponent looked at his Head and Face but saw
no marks of violence or him.
