James Mc.Allister< no role > a Bricklayer's Laborer
on his Oath saith That on Monday last he
was at Work at the Earl of Abercorn's House
in Grosvenor Square , where the Deced
likewise Worked, Says that between three
and four o'Clock that Afternoon Dept. was
at the top of the House, when he saw the
Deced upon the Ladder bringing up a
Board upon his Right Shoulder, says that
the Deced was near the top of the Ladder
intending to Deliver the Board upon
the Parapet says that he observed the
Deced to be in some differently to Land
the Board, and desired Deced to stop
until he came to assist him, but Deced
would not stop, nut stept up higher,
says that the Deced with his left hand
was going to take hold of the Ladder
but missing it, fell down with the Board
from thence to the ground, says that
he came down aswon as he could and
found the Deced lying on his Back upon
the Stone Pavement Bleeding at the
Mouth and Ears, says that the Deced
was not able to move or speak [..]
and that he died immediately in
consequence of the fall, and says that
his fall was mercly Accidental
and Dept. says that the Deced was a
little in Liquor.
