Informations taken this fourth day of
March 1783 at the Parish of St. John the
Evangelist within the Liberty of Westmr . in the
County of Midsex upon an Inquisition touching
the death of George Brown< no role > lying dead in the
said Parish Liberty and County

John Bolney< no role > one of the Watchman of the
Parish of St. John the Evangelist Westmr. on his
Oath saith That as he was going his Round at
half hour past Eleven last Night, he saw
George Brown< no role > the Deced lying down in the Street
called little St. Ann's Lane almost Double
Says that he spoke to him several times
and endeavoured to left him up, but on
feeling his Hands and face found them quite
Cold, and thought the Deced was dead, Says that
he called some of the Neighbours who came
there and found that he Deced was dead
Says that he observed no Marks of violence
upon the Deced, and believes that the Deced
died a natural Death

Street Westmr . Victualler on his Oath saith That
George Brown< no role > the Dreced came to his House
Yesterday about two or three o'Clock in the
Afternoon appearing to be very infirm, having
been ill ever since last Christmas Says that
he drank a Pint of Beer and half a Quarter
of Gin, That he staid there until about
half hour after Eleven o'Clock last Night
when he went away in order to go home
and Dept. saw him go a little Way from
his Door but did not see the Deced afterwards
alive, That he was told the Deced was found
dead in little St. Ann's Lane , and Dept. believes
that the Deced died, a natural Death
