Informations taken this fifteenth day of
October 1782 at the Parish of St. Martin
in the Fields within the Liberty of Westmr .
in the county of Midsex upon an Inquisition
touching the death of Edward Henney< no role >
lying dead in the said Parish Liberty
and County.

Jane Fassel< no role > Servant to Edward Henney< no role > the
Deced on her Oath saith,That she has lived
there between three and four Months, That the Deced
was at home all day on Sunday last and in the
Evening between Eleven and Twelve o' Clock
Dept. went to Bed leaving Deced in the
Parlour, and Dept. did not hear the Deced of
to Bed, Says that yesterday Morning
between Ten and Eleven o'Clock a Person
brought a Letter for Deced upon which Dept.
wentcarriedup Stairs and called Deced
several times but had no Answer
Says that afterwards she went up again
and preping through the Keyhole of the
Door she saw Deced standing at the
Window in his Room as Dept thought
the Door being Locking Says that Mr. James
Man
< no role > was fetched who forced open the
Door of Deced's Room and went in and
soon after others went in and Dept. heard
Mr. Samway he is dead enough and Dept.
afterwards went in and saw the Deced
laid upon the Bed with a Cord about
his Neck appearing to be dead, and Dept.
believes that the Deced Hanged himself
Says that the Deced was always low Spirited
and frequently cried, Says that on Sunday
Evening Deced said Lord have Mercy upon me
it I had Money to stand Trial I should not carried
