Informations taken this Twenty first
day of Septr. 1780 at Kensington In the
Parish of St. Margaret with in the Liberty
of Westminster in the County of Midsex
upon an Inquisition touching the death
of Thomas Billingham< no role > lying dead
in the said Parish Liberty and County

John Gibbs< no role > of Brumpaton in the Parish of
Kimington in the County of Midsex Taylor
on his Oath saith That the Deced worked
for Mr. Henry Hervet< no role > & William Smith< no role >
Nursery Men at Brompton and was
sent by them on Monday last (18. Sepr.)
into the Borough to fetch some Tarr in a Cart
That on Monday Night last Dept. was
informed that the Deced has reced a hurt
and that he was in St. George's Hospital
in the Parish of St. George Hanover Square
Upon which Dept. went to the Hospital
and saw Deced, who toll Dept. that his
Leg was broke, and that he was bringing
a Cart Load of Tan home at Pimlico
and riding upon the shaft of the Cart That by a
Sudden jolt of the Cart he was fling of
to the Ground and the Wheel of the Cart
passed over his Leg, That he was carried
in a Cart to the of George's Hospital, and
that there was no Person with him or
near him, he believed, when the Accident
happened. Says that he saw Deced on
TuesdayMorning at the Hospital when
the appeared to be very bad, and said that
he should not live long, and Deced died thence
before Twelve o'Clock that Day, as Dept.
was informed, and Dept. believes that the
Deced died in Consequence of the Fracture of
hurt abovementioned, Says that the Cart.
