Informations taken this fifth
day of February 1780 at the Parish
of St. Margaret within the Liberty
of Westmr. in the County of Midsex upon
an Inquisition touching the death of
John Fling< no role > lying dead in the said
Parish Liberty and County.

Archdall Harris< no role > of New Palace Yard in
the Parish of St. Margaret Westmr . Surgeon
on his Oath saith That he this day Examined the
Body of John Fling< no role > in St. Margarets Work house
and found on his left Temple near his Eye
a Triangular Wound which left the Bore bare
which he apprehands might be reced by a
fall, finding no other Marks of violence
upon the Deced,

James Pearce< no role > of Vine Street Lambeth March
Carpenter on his Oath saith That on Monday
Night last (January 31.) Dept. spent the
Evening with his fellow Workmen at
the Queen's Head in Marsham Street Westmr .
That they were going home between two
and three o'Clock on Tuesday Morning
at the End of Westmr. Bridge when he
heard a Man in the Water call out
Hollo, twice, Says that he turned back
and in a few Minutes got a Watchman
with a Candle and Laulhorn to go with
him, towards the Deced, Says that he went
down the Stone Stairs on the upper side of
Westmr. Bridge, and on the Stairs found
a Hat and a stick, That when he got
to the side of the River Thames , he heard
the Deced say, her I am twice, the Deced
being
