Third day of May 1779 at the Parish
of St. Margaret within the Liberty of Westmr
in the County of Midsex upon an Inquests
touching the death of Sarah [..] Beaumont< no role >
lying dead in the said Parish Liberty
and County.

Edward Luttrell< no role > House Surgeon at the
Westmr. Hospital in the Parish of St. Margaret
Wesmr. on his Oath saith, That on Monday last
the 26th. day of April Sarah [..] Beaumont< no role > the Deced
was brought to said Hospital as an Accident
being [..] having a Violent Bruise all over
her Back, a Difficulty of Breathing, a Cough
and being very Fevarish, Says that she
continued in great pain until her death
which happened on Saturday Evening last
the first of May Instant, Says that he
this day opened the Body and found the
fifth and Sixth Ribs broken, the fractured
Ends of which pierced the left Lobe of the
Lungs, the Air reced into that Lobe
escapedbythrough the Wound, which caused
the difficulty of Breathing, and was one of
the immediat Causes of her Death Says that there
was about two Quarto of Extravasated Blood
in the Cavity of the Chest. besides general
Inflammation in all the Viscera
