Opinion that the Deced accidentally fell
down into the Area and reced there the
Wound abovementioned

William Hancock< no role > of Rochester Row Carpenter
on his Oath saith That he spent the Evening of
Wednesday last with Deced, That between
Eleven R Twelve o'Clock he went with Deced
to his House in order to Drink a Glass of Gin
but Mrs. Bigby said that he should have none
and they returned to the Salutation and
had Each of them a Glass of Gin, That the
Deced and this Dept. went out together, and
walked into the Bowling Alley talking about
Business, and parted opposite to Mr. Sloyd
the Glazrers Door, Dept. going home and the
Deced returned towards home, and says that
he did not see the Deced afterwards alive,
and Says that the Deced did not appear to
be Much in Liquor. And Dept. Thinks
that if the Deced attempted to get down into
the Area where he was found, it was very
possible for him to fall down there Accidentally

William Gill< no role > of Saundry Yar Corpenter
on his Oath saith That about a Quarter
before One of Clock last Thursday Morning
he come out of the Satitation in Barton Sheet
in order to go home, he same the Deced at
his own Door with a Key in his hand trying
to open the door, Says that thinking Mr Bigby
might be in Liquor Dept. offer to assitha
and turned the Key once, but found the
Door would not give way towards the upper to
of it which Dept. believes was Bolted. Says that
he went away leaving the Deced there, and
Depet. did not see Deced afterwards
