day of January 1779 at the Parish
of St. George Hanover Square within
the Liberty of Westmr in the County
of Midsex upon an Inquisition
touching the Death of Trimnell
Saunders

Parish Liberty and County.

Ann Collingwood< no role > Servant to John Claverley< no role >
at the Sign of the Queen's Head in Abery Form
in the Parish of St. George Hanover Square
Victualler on her Oath saith That she has know
the Deced (who was a Soldier and Quartered at
Mr. Claverleys) about a Week, That this Morning
the Dept went up Stairs to felch down a
Candlestick, and in a Room on the First
Floor she saw the Deced Hanging by his
Garters Fastened to an Iron hook in the
Ceiling in the Middle of the Room, upon
which Dept. came down and acquainted
Mr. Claverley who ran out to call some
of the Neighbours, and Dept. believes that
the Deced Haryed himself.

Ten and Eleven o'Clock Dept. was informed
that a Man had Hanyed himself at Mr. Claverley
upon which he went there with Mr. Jeffreys
and found the Deced Hanging by his Garters
