Informations of Witness taken upon Oath this 9th. day
of August 1776, at the Parish of St. George Hanover Square
within the Liberty of Westmr . at the Dwelling House of Mr.
Stephen Bowman< no role > the Sign of the Barley more in Mount
Street in the said Parish and Liberty. Before Thomas Prickard< no role >
Gentleman His Majesty's Coroner for the said City and Liberty
on View of the Body of a Woman unknown lying Dead
in the said Parish and Liberty, as follows (to wit)

Richard Blandy< no role > of New Street Covent Garden Silk Dyer one of
the Constables of Hyde Park or his Oath saith that Yesterday about
half an hour after 5 o'Clock in the Afternoon, he was informed there
was a Woman Drowned in the Place called the Bason in Hyde
Park , and Deponent immediately went, and saw a woman floating
in the Water,and then with the assistance of another Person
he took her out and brought her on the Land. Deponent does
not know who the woman was to the last of his Knowledge

on his Oath saith that about a month since he was crossing Mary
bone fields about 3 in the afternoon, and saw some People & elected
together and among then a Young woman sitting on the crass, she
