day of September 1774 at the Parish of
St. Martin in the Fields within the Liberty
of Westmr . in the County of Midsex upon an
Inquisition touching the death of Robert
Lesley
< no role > lying dead in the said Parish Liberty
and County

Thomas Fawkeonar< no role > Victualler at the Sign
of the Kings Arms in Russel Street in the
Parish of St. Martin in the Fields on his
Oath saith That he permitted Robert
Lesley
< no role > the Deced to Live in his house
That the Deced on Wednesday last was
sent to lead or Ride Mr. Addison's Horse
from Dept. House to Gray's Inn Lane
between Eight and nine o'Clock, Says
that Deced went, and about one o'Clock
the next Morning (Sepr. 8th.) the Deced was
brought home in a Hackney Coach ,appearing
to be very drunk and Speechless, Says that
the Coachman told Dept. that Deced was
put into his Coach in Grays Inn Lane
and thought him in Liquor, That the
DecedCoachman carried the Deced up Stairs into the
Room where he usually lay in Mr. Fawkconers
House and Deced was there put [..] upon the Bed
and Covered with the Cloaths, Says that
the Deced Snored but continued speakless
and insensible, That he was bled about
Ten o'Clock, but Deced continued in the
same State, and died about one o'Clock that day as Dept. was intented [..]
