Thomas Lee< no role > Apprentice to Mr. Howard of Bow Street
Covent Garden Surgeon on his Oath saith That on Monday
Morning last he was ordered by Mr. Howard to go to
Mrs. Langdon where he saw the Deced lying upon the Floor
Bloody with his Seull Fractured, upon the top of his
Head, and a Wound on Each side of his Neck Says
that there was a Pistol in one of the Deced's hands with
the End of the Barrel close to the Deced's Neck, and
another Pistol lying upon the Carpet near the Deced
and much Blood upon the Carpet and upon the [..]
Cloaths, and believes that the Deced was shot, [..]
that he was than Cold, and Dept. believes that the Deced [..]
had been dead some hours.

Robert Smith< no role > of Long Acre Baker on his Oath saith
that on Monday Morning last about nine o'Clock
Mr. Lewis's Servant came to Dept. and informed him
that the Gentleman in that Lodged in the two pair of Stairs
at Mrs. Langdon was dead, upon which he went to Mr.
Langdon whom he found in affit, Says that Mr. Howard's
Apperntice was fetched who went up slow into Deced's Room
with Mr. Lewis and this Dept:, Says that he saw the Deced
lying upon the Carpet in the Foreman upon his rightside
with a Pistol in one of his Hands, and another Pistol
lying near him upon the Carpet, both of which had been
discharged, says that the Deced was dead, that his Sould
was Fracture on the top of his Head, and that he had
a Wound on each side of his Neck, which was the cause
of the Deced's Death and Dept. believes that he shot [..]
himself
