Informations of Witnesses taken this 21st day
of July 1773 . in the Parish of St. James at the Dwellings House
of Mr. Samuel Smith< no role > the Sign of the Old Catherine Wheel in
Little St. James's Street Before Thomas Prickard< no role > Gentleman
His Majesys Coroner for the said City and Liberty touching
the Death of John Burridge Leigh< no role > Esquire thena and
there being Dead, as fellow

Rich John Atwood< no role > of St. James's Street Westmr . on his Oath Says
that the Deced has occadionally lodged at his House for 8 Year Past
says he saw the Deced on Monday might last at his House and
other Company with then, says the Deced appeared to him to he
as far as he could judge in an Insane Stale of Mind, says he
observed the Deceds Eyes frequently glare and that his speach
was several times very merchant, and there appeared a great
Vacancy in his Mind, says he was Distressed for the Deced's
appearance at that time as he had never onserved him so before in such
dogzce, says he beleives it made from his not besing able to
Answer and Discharge Debts which he laid Contracted
