Informations of Witnesses taken this 30th,
day of July 1772 in the Parish of St. Margaret
in the City of Westminster at the Dwelling
House of Mr. Thomas Cooper< no role > the Sign of the
Starr in King Street . Before Thomas Prickard< no role >
Coronor for our Sovereign Lord the King for the
City and Liberty of Westminster touching the
Death of Hannah Hayward< no role > than and there
lying Dead, as follow

William Laxham< no role > Apprentice to Mr. John Burgess< no role > of Charles Street
Westmr. Glazier on his Oath says that on Monday night last about
8 o'Clock he was standing at his Master's Door, with one Edwd, Burdon< no role >
and the Deced came up to them and ask'd Burdon if she would give
her a Glass of Gin, he replied he would give her a couple if she
would Drink it, theDeponentDeced then went into Mr. Wetten halls'
Wine Vaults in Charles Street and the Deponent and Burn followed
her in, two Glasses of Gin were called for and she took the Glasses
one after the other and drank the Gin Volentary and the Deceased
went out of the House for about 5 Minutes and then returned in
again, and called herself for another Glass, and Deponent and Burn,
