that since the taking of her Masters Stock her Mistress has seemed,
Melancholly, and said to Deponent it was Pity People were not
brought up to Work as things were going bad in Trade, Deponent
says her Mistress was not of late able to eat her Meals as usual.

Alexander Faulkner< no role > of Whitecomb Street Leicester fields Cabinet
maker on his Oath says that he has known the Deced for about
5 Years last past, says that about a Week ago the Deceased
supped at his House with her Husband, says she seemed very
melancholly and much dejected, says she told Deponents Wife
if she should Die soon desired her to take care of her Child, saying
she beleived she should not live long, Deponent says she used
before when in company to be merry and chearfull, says he
has seen her sometimes more in liquor than he thought was
prudent, Says her Husband is of Good Character and was a very
good Husband to his said Wife

Adam Pryce< no role > of Piccadilly Victualler on his Oath says that Yesterday
about a quarter before 6 oClock in the Evening Mr. Nicholsons Bay come to him
and desired him to come to his Masters House for there was some
very great Misfortune, Deponent went and saw Mr. Nicholson
and the Boy in the Shop who both seemed much dejected, Mr.
Nicholson desired him to walk up Stairs & the Boy went before
him he followed, and then Mr. Nicholson, the Boy opened the
Room door & when Deponent went in he found the Deced hanging by a Cord
from a Staple in the Ceiling with her left Arm up to her Neck
Deponent asked the Boy for a Knife and immediately cut her
down and laid her on the Bed and found her quite stiff and Dead.
