Informations taken this Seventh day of
May 1772 at the Parish of St. Margaret within
the Liberty of Westmr . in the County of Midsex
upon a Inquisition touching the death of
John Vitu< no role > lying dead in the said Parish
Liberty and County.

Charles Auterac< no role > of Kensington On the County of
Middlesex Apothecary on his Oath saith That he has
occasionally attended John Vitu the Deced upwards of
two Years, who was Subject to a Billions Cholik, and
had frequent returns of that complaint, and was
sometimes in violent pains, but not confined to his
Room, Says that latterby the Deced had more frequent
returns of his pain, and has been [..] very low
spirited for a Considerable time, and believes that
these pains are sometimes so violent as to be
capable of affecting his understanding Says that
on the 23d day of April last in the Morning this
Dept. was fetched to the Deced, whom he found in [..] d in his
own House in Kensington Gore in the Parish of St. Margt.
Westmr . with a considerable Wound in his Belly at
the Navel of the length of about five Inches, andhis
a great part of his Bowels out, Says that on seeing
the wound and observing that it required the Assistance
of a Surgeon, he desired that a Surgeon might be sent for
and thereupon Mr. Howard a Surgeon was fetched who
attended the Deced, Says that the Deced died yesterday
Morning.
