Deced said that she had ocassion to go into the necessary
House, that she went soon returned, and went their
again twice afterwards, but Dept. observing that she
Staid a long time, went to look where she was and
on opening the Vault door saw the Deced sitting upon
the Seat, and Bleeding from a Wound in her Neck
and a great Quantity of Blood upon the Floor, Says
that she was frightened, and ran out of call Mr.
Lindsay, an Apothecary , whose Servant went with
Dept. and endeavoured to stop the Bleeding, says that
Mr. Harris a Surgeon was fetched, who advised the
Deced's being carried to the Hospital, which Deced
at first objected to, but afterwards agreed to go and
Deced was taken in a Coach attended by Mr. Watson
and another Many Says that Mr. Watson asked
the Deced in the hearing of Mr. Harris & this Dept
if She had given herself the wound, to which Deced
answered that she had. and Dept believes that
she gave herself the wound, there being no other
Person in the House at that time than the Deced's
Mother and this Dept. and that Dept. believes
that the Deced was at times Disordered in her Senses.

Archdall Harris< no role > of New Palace Yard Westmr. Surgeon
on his Oath saith, That on Wednesday last (Mar 11)
he was fetched to Mr. Watson's in Tufton Street , where
he found the Deced sitting upon the Necessary with a
wound in the windpipe near an Inch long, a great
Quantity of Blood upon the Floor and upon the Deced's
Cloaths, Says that he ordered the Deced to be moved into
the Parlour where he found that the Wound was likely
to prove Dangerous, and adviced the Deced's being carried
to the Hospital, as no other Surgeon was there, and Deced
was immediately taken away in a Coach, Says that Mr.
Watson called upon him the next morningsame Eveningand information
him that the Deced died in a few Minutes after she was
taken into St George's Hospital , and Dept. believes the wound
abovementioned to have occasioned her Death, Says that
on Mr Watson's asking the Deced if the Act was her
own, she said that it was, And says that he found
a Knife Bloody upon the Seat in the Necessary
on the right side of the Deced, with which he think
the wound was given, and say that the Deced's hand
were Bloody

Elizabeth< no role > the wife of James Does < no role > on her Oath saith That
she had lodged with the Deced almost Twelve months, and
for the last six months has been intimate with her, says
that the Deced appeared to be very uneasy and
disturbed in her mind, sometimes very Melancholy
and Dept. believes that the Deced was at times Disordered
in her Senses.
