Seven o'Clock, That he was going to come down the
Step ladder unto the Shop when he saw the Deced Hanging
by the Rope that usually Hanged there to help people
up, which was fastened around his Neck, Says that
he called the other Apprentice, but Mr. Sebastian Crespel< no role >
his Master was the first who came there and saw the
Deced Hanging, Says that the Beadle was afterwards
fetched who saw the Deced Hanging, and Mr. James
Crespel
< no role > then cut the Lord and Deced was laid on the
Floor. Says that the Deced appeared to be dead and
believes that the Deced hanged himself. Says that
the Deced after said to this Dept. that he was tired of
this Life.

Morris Wood< no role > Apprentice to Mr. James Crespel< no role > on his
Oath Saith, That he came home last Night about a Quarter
before Ten o'Clock when he found the Deced leaning his
Head upon the Table, and soon after the Deced after
wishing her Master a good Night, went out backwards in
order to go to Bad as Dept. thought, and Dept. did not
see him afterwards until he was told this Morning by William Wrenford< no role >
that the Deced was hanging, and Dept. then saw him
Hanging by a Rope in the Workshop, and believes that
he Hanged himself, Says that Deced told him about two
Months ago that he had a regard for a young woman but
could not be Admitted into her Company, that he had been
informed that she had turned out a bad woman, and that
he was aftersd told that she was going to be Married to
another man, and says that the Deced had Cried several
times for near half an hour together when he was with
this Dept. but never gave any other Reason for his
uneasiness.

has for some time past bean low [..] and deced
in his Conversation from what he used be but
never told Thos. Dept. the reason of it, And this Dept
Says that he believes the Deced was not at all
times in his perfect Senses
